The RoleMarcellin College, a leading Catholic boy's school, presents opportunities for experienced Outdoor Education Facilitators to join our team on a casual basis in 2024.Key Success FactorsThe Outdoor Education Program is an integral part of the College's curriculum from Year 7 through to Year 10.  It aims to provide students with outdoor learning opportunities that promote key aspects of personal development such as self-esteem, resourcefulness, leadership, tolerance, determination and responsibility.The students focus on trust, teamwork and co-operation, whilst developing and encouraging positive attitudes towards environmental appreciation and protection and the encouragement of conservation practices.Our multi-activity expeditions involve safely guiding groups of students through remote locations of Victoria. Activities on expeditions may include bushwalking, off road cycling, surfing, snorkelling, flat water and white water canoeing and kayaking, sea kayaking, abseiling and climbing.We are currently seeking enthusiastic, experienced Outdoor Education Facilitators to work with us on our outdoor education program and activities across all year level camps and also assist with pre-program organisation and post-program maintenance.If you have the skills and experience to take on this rewarding challenge.
