The College is committed to developing in our students the skills to be confident and creative learners in the world in which they live, for today and tomorrow.About the roleThe Outdoor Education Program is an integral part of the College's curriculum at Year 7 through to Year 10 and aims to provide students with enjoyable learning situations to promote aspects of personal development such as self-esteem, resourcefulness, leadership, tolerance, determination and responsibility. They focus on trust, teamwork and co-operation, while developing and encouraging positive attitudes toward environmental appreciation and protection and the encouragement of conservation practices.Our multi-activity expeditions involve safely guiding groups of students around remote locations in Victoria. Activities on expeditions may include bushwalking, off road cycling, surfing, snorkelling, flat water and white water canoeing and kayaking, sea kayaking, abseiling and climbing.We are currently seeking enthusiastic, experienced Outdoor Education Staff to work on our outdoor education program across all year level camps and also can assist with pre-program organization and post-program maintenance.Do you have the skills and experience to take on this challenge? Child Safeguarding ComplianceAll applicants are required to:Provide proof of identificationProvide proof of applicable qualificationComplete a Child Safety DeclarationComplete online Child Protection trainingProvide or agree to undertake a police check (National Police Certificate)Provide evidence of current Working With Children Check Position Description AUD Bulleen 3105
