About the role
This significant position drives a collaborative culture consistent with sustainability and transformation, operational excellence, aligned with the College’s Catholic ethos, Marist Spirituality and Vision for Learning. The Director of Staff and Strategy at Marcellin College is responsible for implementing the Catholic Marist philosophy of the College and modeling and supporting the goals of the College Mission – Education, Spirituality, Community and Justice.
The Director of Staff and Strategy is a member of the College’s Senior Leadership team and is expected to work closely with the Principal, Deputy Principal, Business Manager, Assistant Principal’s and Directors to facilitate the day to day running of the College.
The Director of Staff and Strategy supports the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of students and as such carries responsibilities across Education in faith, Learning and Teaching, Student Wellbeing, Leadership and Management, Community, which are identified by the School Improvement Framework.
The incumbent is expected to support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community and to commit to ongoing professional development and learning.
